The Stott Pilates method is the form of Pilates taught at the Centre. The Stott Pilates mind-body exercise repertoire is built on the principles of the late Joseph H Pilates, and which also incorporates modern knowledge about the body. The main essence of the classes is to firstly strengthen the core muscles and reduce tension and then to improve flexibility, stability and better posture.
There are classes for the complete beginner who known absolutely nothing about this method of training but who would like to come and experience it. Then there are classes for the beginner to intermediate which are people who have done Pilates before and would like to progress to the next level. Intermediate classes are also available for those who now feel that they are ready for a more challenging workout. For those that prefer private session, 1:1 and 2:1 sessions are also available.
